now, this was one funeral that was definitely wrong. it's wrong. it's immoral. it's totally unfair how we got to live until now while she had to die for a social wrong. coz no matter wat, we are definitely healthy and sane (in the general sense of the words) 20-s'thing yr olds while she killed herself, at age 14, an only child.

hands up, all those of us who skipped the occasional bfast or lunch.
hands up, all those of us who starved ourselves for a few days only to binge on some ridiculous buffet, and then starving ourselves a few more days afterwards.
hands up, all those who ever gawked at skinny models in the magazines.
hands up, all those of us who ever bitched abt skinny uglee girls.
hands up, all those of us who haven't been honest with our own body images.
hands up, all those of us who ever felt good abt puking.

hands up, all those who ever called s'one else a "Fat Pig".

the girl committed suicide becoz she cudn't stand the torment from her schmates anymore. it was neither their nor her fault really. she had been a pretty girl all along but a genetic condition caused her to balloon suddenly and our dear medical science cudn't help her fast enough to prevent the onslaught of the evils of young sch children.

and so, she had a close coffin. she jumped off the building.

but we all have our pessimistic and scary sides.

no matter wat, i'm always thankful for small mercies: the strong and stable gaw-ment, the clean and safe streets, the rice we eat, the clothes we wear, the jimmy choos, the takuya kimuras all over the world, belgium-imported chocolates, french wine at fancy restuarants, blahblahblah blahblahblahblahblah *yawns*

but most importantly, my frens who care so much... which means all of you and you and you and all of YOU out there.

i really really hope that next yr will be better for all of us.
